What are Connection Groups?
Connection Groups were formed at Bedford Alliance to bring people with common interests together in order to make friends and build community. We have two main goals for our connections ministry:
1. To build unity and friendships among attendees of Bedford Alliance (John 17:20-21)
2. To reach un-churched people in Bedford and the surrounding communities for Christ (Matthew 28:19-20)
Sports
Basketball -
Co-ed for ages 16 and up. Games are on Saturday mornings starting at 9 am. The 2010 season began on January 30th and runs through April. For more information on the league, or to see the league schedule click here.
Thursday night Open Gym Basektball is finished.
Fall Softball -
Co-ed for ages 14 and up. Games are on Tuesday and Thursday nights. The 2010 season begins on August 17th and concludes with a Tournament/Party on Saturday, October 2nd. Sign up for Fall Ball will begin in July.
Co-ed Summer Softball -
For ages 14 and up. Games are on Monday nights begining in early May and ending in early August. Sign ups will begin in March.
Men's League Summer Softball -
For ages 14 and up. Games are on Tuesday and Friday nights begining in early May and ending in early August. Sign ups will begin in March.
Co-ed Volleyball -
For ages 13 and up. Games are on Tuesday nights at 6:30, 7:30, and 8:30 pm. The season started in January of 2010 and will conclude on Saturday, March 20th with playoffs and a party. Spectators are welcome!

Fantasy Baseball -
Fans assemble imaginary teams of their favorite players and compete head-to-head against others from the church. This is a great way to meet new people and enjoy the baseball season.
Fantasy Football -
This is a fun and easy way for football fans to meet new friends and enjoy the football season.
Toledo Mud Hens -
Join the rest of the church for a night at the ballpark in late summer every year. The 2010 outing will be on Friday, August 20th at 7:00 p.m. Sign up begining in July to see the Hens take on Indianapolis.
Ski Trip/Snowboarding -
We hosted our annual ski trip on January 9, 2010. Thanks to everyone who participated for a great day on the slopes. Look for our next trip on Saturday, January 8, 2011!
Life Bracket Groups
A Note from the Ministry Coordinator: To preserve the integrity of the Life Bracket Groups, the age and/or life circumstance requirements of these groups (shown below in red) will be strictly enforced.
YLTC (Youth Living the Call) -
For junior high and high school students. See the YLTC Youth Page for more details. YLTC Youth Page
Young Families -
For families with at least one child in 6th grade or younger. Check the church calendar for upcoming events.
Parents of Teens -
For parents with at least one child age 13-19. Meets once a month during youth group time for fellowship and to discuss relevant topics on raising teens. Every parent of a teen is always welcome.
Empty Nesters -
For parents of grown children. This group meets monthly for various activities. First time guests are always welcome.
S.A.M.S Club (Senior Adult Ministries) -
For anyone age 55+. This group meets every other month for various activities. First time guests are always welcome.
Scrap Happenings -
Scrapbooking days held at various times during the year. Everyone welcome. Bring your own supplies and ideas to share. The next Scrap Happenings will take place:

Dinners for Eight -
A group that rotates to different homes 4 times per year for dinner. Everyone helps bring part of the meal. The 2010 group is now in progress. Join the 2011 group at the end of the year. Contact the Ministry Coordinator to join mid-year.
